New Properties Panel
Our new properties panel exposes key, pre-packaged visualizations of the JupiterOne Graph to the user based on their desired use case. It offers comprehensive, asset-level information without the hassle of toggling back and forth between the list view and the Graph.
You can simply click on an asset and open the properties panel to view connected resources, ownership attribution, agents, blast radius, internet path, access, and more.
Why you should leverage this feature
The properties panel allows you to easily and intuitively understand the level of security attached to each asset. For example, imagine you are looking at a device in the properties panel. After confirming that it is internet facing, you notice a vulnerability on the path to the internet. By leveraging the properties panel Graph to pinpoint where that vulnerability is sitting, you are able to prioritize and remediate this vulnerability appropriately.
Plus, you can use the properties panel to familiarize yourself with J1QL! Because the properties panel uses J1QL to source each view, you can copy that query and customize it for the level of detail or asset class you are looking for.
How to access this feature
There’s an easy way to access this feature:
- Open JupiterOne and query your environment
- Click on an asset returned as a result
- Expand the side panel to start exploring.
JupiterOne Managed Dashboards in Insights Innovation
The JupiterOne Managed Dashboards in Insights consist of 20+ visualization dashboards that allow you to organize your information by use case. These dashboards are readily available, so you no longer need to create custom dashboards by request. For additional customizations, you can also clone and customize your dashboards for easy sharing or personal tracking.
Why you should leverage this feature
These Insights dashboards make it easy for your team to understand your security posture without all the manual heavy lifting. Updates and improvements will happen automatically, so you never have to work with an outdated or clunky tool.
Whether you want to create a dashboard for yourself or share it across teams, the Managed Dashboards offer you an established place to start building out the metrics that matter to you.
