Introducing the AskJ1 Community

If you couldn't tell from the video, we are so excited to launch the AskJ1 Community! By bringing together our users, team, and security professionals at large, we're here to help one another refine the craft of turning infrastructure and security information into context that drives action.

While innovative uses of technology provide visibility and do a lot of legwork, it's the people who take the data, communicate across their organizations and drive continuous improvement.

We want to make it simple for these people – the change agents, the practitioners, the leaders – to ask questions about their environment and to ask each other for help.

We're here to help one another refine the craft of turning security and infrastructure information into context that drives action.

Additionally, the more folks contribute, the more they can increase their rank and win SwagBucks to redeem at our Swag Shop! More on this later.

How does it work?

Once upon a time, askj1.com pointed directly to the JupiterOne Questions Library - a site with 400+ pre-canned natural language questions accompanied with queries to copy and paste into the JupiterOne Platform search bar.

We've expanded the AskJ1 experience to include many other ways users may want to interact to refine their craft - through asynchronous discussions in the forum, virtual (and eventually in-person) events, blog articles and how-to's outlining different ways to solve problems, and more!

Beyond the Questions Library, there is a more connected experience between asking questions about your environment and asking questions about how to connect your environment to get the answers you're looking for. Enter the AskJ1 Community Forum.

In the AskJ1 Community Forum, there is a Featured Category called "About the AskJ1 Community." This is where new and existing users alike can get info on how to join the forum, read the code of conduct, start discussions, answer questions and increase their rank to get some sweet swag.

The AskJ1 Community Forum also connects with Docs so that users can search existing discussions and product documentation in one place.

Wait ...did someone say SWAG?

Yep - want to get yourself some sweet J1 merch? Then get involved in the community and increase your rank to get JupiterOne Swagbucks! Swing by the Swag Shop to see what's available and check back for new additions to the store!
