Understanding assets is critical to a strong security program

The sheer amount of assets is truly overwhelming for any SOC team. We recently researched and published an exclusive report showing that the average enterprise security team is responsible for almost 400,000 assets, and has to correlate information from nine data sources. 

The 2023 State of Cyber Assets Report (SCAR) report analyzed more than 291 million assets, findings, and policies to understand how security teams are functioning and securing their attack surfaces – and the verdict is that security teams are fatigued and understaffed, making efficiency and accuracy a top priority.

Make J1 AI your new personal assistant

Currently, J1 AI will be used for three primary use cases that allow you to provide your own self-service support, anytime, anywhere. J1 AI will: 

  • Answer questions and provide in-product guidance to help you find what you’re looking for.
  • Provide suggested actions and navigational assistance for users anywhere in the JupiterOne platform to get you where you need to go.
  • Leverage public knowledge domains to answer key security questions for things that aren’t already in our knowledge library.

What questions can I ask?

J1 AI will reference existing JupiterOne documentation, blog posts, and publicly available resources to help you use JupiterOne more efficiently and effectively. Here are a couple examples of questions we ran past J1 AI.


Coming Soon: J1 AI will soon feature even more powerful functionality

This is just the start of what we have in store for you. By leveraging AI, our goal is to make JupiterOne an even more powerful, intuitive weapon in your security arsenal. As we improve and refine our model, you’ll be able to use J1 AI for error remediation with step-by-step guidance for resolution. 

J1 AI will be able to create new rules and alerts and suggest workflows to streamline incident reporting and response. It will also provide security benchmarking and advanced prioritization.

Also coming soon, J1 AI will answer questions from the J1 Questions Library, and similar to an Amazon or Google search, suggest other relevant questions or related queries that you might find helpful. Later this year, look for the ability to use natural language questions to populate queries, all powered by J1 AI.
